No, not that Summer Magic, we're talking about all the weddings and anniversaries we attended this summer. Yes, that's right, we finally got some pictures sorted and posted!
July began with Dad, Mom, Andy, and Ingrid visiting Pittsburgh for Independence Day (no, not that Independence Day), and ended with Andy and Ingrid's wedding in Chicago. Two weeks after that, we journeyed to Portland (by way of Seattle) for two anniversary parties: Great Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's 75th, and Grandma and Grandpa Sawyer's 50th. The photos from all these events are grouped together here:
In mid-August, cousin Brian Johnson married Jeanna, and we drove up to Jamestown for the wedding. The pictures from that are here:

Sorry about the lack of updates lately. It's been quite the busy summer, and August ended up with much more activity than we had anticipated.
This past weekend, Lara's mom visited us on Saturday, we went to the Carnegie Science Center with cousin Todd on Sunday, and Lara's dad came to visit (and deliver some chairs) on Monday. We also had a realtor come over to check out our house, as we're looking to sell it and move closer to town.
The previous weekend, we were visiting cousins Christine and Mark in Morgantown, WV, and the weekend before that we went to Jamestown for cousins Brian and Jeanna's wedding. The weekend before that, we were in Portland for anniversary celebrations. And between all these weekends we've been cleaning, sorting through boxes in the basement, hosting the occasional movie party, getting the video camera repaired, learning new video and audio editing software, and trying to fit in a bit of relaxation here and there to counterbalance increasingly stressful work environments.
So all that's to say that we haven't had quite as much time as we had hoped to work on completing the wedding DVD or sorting through the 500+ photos we've taken since the California trip. On the bright side, however, weekends in September are looking nice and clear right now. Apart from possibly selling the house, that is...
